Novy Jicin looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Pavel Novak (192-2002) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-1993, college: Des Moines A.) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Novy Jicin players scored in double figures. Novy Jicin's coach David Hajek felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Jan Hlobil (201-1997) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Slovakian point guard Roman Marko (192-1986) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
